If you are not getting photos to load properly, it's the image compression

feature that is at fault.  Here is how to fix it.

If you are using AOL 4.0 or 5.0, you can disable the image compression

by clicking on the "My AOL" menu, then selecting "Preferences". On the

"Preferences" menu that comes up, select "WWW" then click on the "Web

Graphics" tab on the window that pops up. Disable the image compression,

and then click on the "Ok" button. You will then need to restart your

computer for this change to take effect.

If you are using CompUserve 2000, click on the "Access" menu and then

click "Preferences" on the drop-down menu. In the Preferences window,

click on "WWW" and then click on the "Web Graphics" tab on the window

that pops up. Disable the image compression, and then click on the "Ok"

button. You will then need to restart your computer for this change to

take effect.
